What is TEDx?
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx.
TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
Our event is called TEDxUCR, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxUCR event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group.
The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

How can we attend a tedxucr talk?
We will be releasing more information close to the talks. As the dates and speakers get confirmed, ticket sales will start soon after, and further information will be released to the general public. We hope to see you there!
WILL THE EVENTs BE FILMED AND POSTED ON YOUTUBE?
what does tedxucr do?
We are Highlanders spreading Ideas! We seek to enrich student life at University of California, Riverside with a platform to encourage ideas worth spreading through TED talks. TEDxUCR is not limited to one category or topic. We are promoting interdisciplinary ideas from varying individuals experts in their field, hoping to challenge perspectives and address matters beneficial to our student and community's population.
How often does TEdxucr hold events?
We have a main TEDx talk that we host once per year. Previously we have worked and held one TEDx talk every quarter operating online and we hope to keep up the momentum. Our latest anticipated talk is coming soon to UCR in Spring 2022 and will be fully in person! Stay tuned for tickets and further information!
