Some experiences can only be gained from traveling elsewhere. With that spirit in mind, Global Perspectives 2020 explored various topics that ranged from enriching experiences from studying abroad in other countries to even exploring in order to break out of comfort zones.
The Event

Global Perspectives 2020, a day of thought-stimulating talks on topics including why students should study abroad, the importance of leaving comfort zones, and the understanding of the hardships that international students face. It’s the first time that TEDxUCR and ASUCR ISC partnered together to curate inspiring talks by UCR UCEAP domestic and international students, along with a few UCR international alumni, who found jobs post-grad and are now working full-time in America.

To open up the audience’s views regarding global perspectives that come in an array of unique voices, backgrounds, and cultures.
